The Larvotto beach in Monaco recently reopened after a 22-month closure period. After two years of work, the Larvotto seaside resort in Monaco has completely reinvented itself. Thanks to the vision of architect Renzo Piano, the new shaded promenade offers a harmonious marriage between the urban landscape and the Mediterranean. The beach, completely renovated, is now more attractive and pleasant. This place is designed to be enjoyed throughout the year, offering a true Monegasque seaside experience.
With its 14,000 m2 of fine sand, this beach now offers a revitalized public space and a non-smoking promenade. But that's not all, new patios and restaurants have also been added.
The renovation project aimed to "reclaim the public space" of this famous beach of the Principality, according to the Director of Urban Development. Thus, a new cycle path has been added, more than 130 trees have been planted to provide shade and a range of amenities such as a nursery, gym and diving school have been included. Thanks to these improvements, the beach is now accessible to people with reduced mobility and disabilities. This new beachfront complex offers an ideal setting for people of all ages, with its covered promenade and completely renovated beach, it will also be connected to the new Maretra eco-district.

The Larvotto seaside resort continues to grow to offer more services to residents and visitors. Some historic businesses have returned, such as the Palais du Maillot and La Licorne, while new businesses, such as the Costa bakery, have joined the complex. Ice cream parlors and clothing shops are also present, offering a diverse shopping experience.
In order to guarantee animation throughout the year, the government has planned to add seven new shops to the Larvotto commercial area this winter. Activities such as interior design, ready-to-wear, beauty treatments and bakery/pastry will be offered. These new shops will complement the existing offer and contribute to the animation of the district.
